Recipes for our

Frank Sinatra Cocktail Making Shake-Up Party

The Rat Pack

Did you know that Frank Sinatra called
liquor his ‘gasoline’? True story!

It is said he was fueled by alcohol. So,
what was his top 5 favorite beverages?

He mostly loved Jack Daniels, in fact,
he is buried with a bottle! But that is
not all he loved.

1. Jack Daniels

Jack Daniels was Frank’s first
choice. Introduced to the
whiskey by Jackie Gleason!
Frank drank Jack Daniels for the
rest of his life! There is even a
special edition bottle you
can purchase, Sinatra Select.

4 ice cubes
2 fingers of Jack
Splash of water

2. Martini on the Rocks

Beefeater gin with a shadow of
vermouth served on the rocks with
just a twist of lemon.

3 ounces London Dray-style gin
3⁄4 ounce dry vermouth
1 small strip of lemon, twisted.

3. The Rat Pack Manhattan

The Rat Pack Manhattan is a Perfect
Manhattan with a little French twist. Coat a
chilled cocktail glass with the liqueur and
discard. Stir whiskey, vermouth and bitters
with a lot of ice. Strain into the prepared
glass and garnish with an orange twist and
a maraschino cherry

1⁄2 Shot of Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge
1 1⁄2 shot of Makers Mark
3⁄4 shot Martini Rosso
3⁄4 shot Martini Extra Dry
3 dashes Angosuro Aromatic Bitters

4. Rusty Nail

2 ounces blended scotch whisky
1⁄2 ounce Drambuie
1 lemon twist

Combine the scotch and
Drambuie in an old-fashioned
glass over ice. Stir and garnish with
a lemon and serve.

5. Flame of Love

.2 ounces of Vodka
1⁄4 Fino Sherry
Several large strips of orange peel for
garnish
Rinse a chilled glass with sherry and
discard excess. While
squeezing a large strip of orange peel
over the sherry-rinsed glass, use a
match to carefully flame the oils
spraying into the glass; repeat several
times with additional peels. Stir the
vodka with ice until chilled, then strain
into the prepared glass. Flame a final
orange peel over the finished drink;
garnish.
