We know that today may not have been the way you envisioned it to be. You may have been planning to visit extended family, enjoying a picnic, an egg hunt, or basking in a the sun somewhere warmer. Hopefully you are still able to celebrate today with your immediate family, or via facetime with loved ones afar.
I wanted to share with you a treasured photo I have from one of my favorite travel moments. The photo below is of my family on Easter Sunday 2017 celebrating Easter Mass at The Vatican with Pope Francis. Certainly The Vatican looked much less crowded during today’s celebration. But, none the less, today’s mass was still a celebration shared together around the world.
Though you may feel alone during social distancing, all around the world we are all in this TOGETHER. And together, soon enough, we will all go out and travel the far reaches of the world we all yearn to see and explore.
