Nancy lives just outside of Raleigh NC with her husband. Together they have 3 grown children, 2 daughters, a son and two grandsons. Nancy’s hobbies are baking, going to the beach and being a passenger on their Harley Davidson motorcycle. Their motorcycle adventures have spanned from West Coast to East Coast, north to Maine and through the mountains of the Rockies, and lastly to Sturgis for the 75th anniversary!

Favorite Destinations: As a child, my travel dreams were to go to Hawaii and Italy. I used to buy calendars of Hawaii as a kid and just day dream about being there! When I finally did go for my honeymoon I knew it was not going to be the last time. I completely fell in love with everything about Hawaii. I have been to Maui, Kauai and Oahu. My next conquest is the big Island.

My dreams of going to Italy became reality in spring of 2023. It was everything I dreamed of and so much more. Once again, I fell in love with the culture, the language, the people, not to mention the food and wine! Needless to say that was one of many more trips to come!

Growing up in a family of 8 kids, our extent of travel was driving from Utah to Wyoming to grandma’s for a long weekend. Traveling then wasn’t as widely available as it is now. Having the opportunity to travel more frequently is something I am so grateful for. Travel, adventure and curiosity of how other cultures lived and thrived has always been a passion of mine. I truly believe traveling is how we acquire knowledge and appreciation for others. To experience the differences of other countries and cultures has opened my heart to want to learn so much more! This passion has taken me to Switzerland, Germany, Africa, Dubai and nearly all 50 states in the U.S. There really isn’t a place I could say I would never go because I want to experience it all, the world is my playground!
