Travel is truly what I live for. International travel is not only my livelihood but also the livelihood for the 4 staff members at VIP Travel Designs. The most important thing that we do every single day is take care of our families and our traveling clients.
Our clients are family to us.
While travel has always created joy for us, we take very seriously the care and safety of our clients. With the recent outbreak of Coronavirus, what does it mean for clients who are considering an Italy or China vacation or who’ve already booked their International trip?
Tourism is one of the world’s main industries. Specifically Italy travel is one of VIP Travel Designs most popular destinations. As such, the Italian government is acting swiftly and decisively to isolate the confirmed cases and halt the spread of the Coronavirus.
((For a bit of context, the seasonal flu affects 26 million Americans – including 250,000 hospitalizations and 14,000 deaths)).
The Italian government continues to take significant precautions to contain the virus, including banning flights to/from China and quarantining the small towns where the majority of the cases are located (in non-touristy areas).
I want to personally assure you that all of our team is closely monitoring the evolving situation in Italy, China and all destinations we have clients traveling to. I will immediately send an update in the event that the US governments issue travel advisory against travel to a destination you are traveling to or have inquired about. At present, the CDC does not recommend that travelers cancel planned travel to Italy.
At VIP Travel Designs, we are vigilantly monitoring all the news, government directives, and evolving regulations about this situation. We will continue to do so in the days, weeks and months ahead.
The majority of those impacted by the virus have pre-existing conditions (such as asthma, diabetes, heart disease and pulmonary problems) and those with suppressed immune systems (including the elderly). So, the healthier the person, the more likely they are not to be affected.
At this point, NONE of the tours we have booked are being affected by the Coronavirus. We will keep you posted in the weeks and months to come with updates or changes.
Our clients are always our number one priority. Our family is your family, which means that we look after your well-being as we would our own flesh and blood. So, please rest assured that we will always care for each and every one of our clients. Your safety is our priority.
